The Center Stage from Orem put together a full hour of dance featuring tots to teens in routines that were sure to please the crowd.
Ginger Christopher was featured in two memorable performances, the first to be followed by the fast feet of the Irish Dance Group from The Power Academy. Ginger's second performance, Reminiscence, portrayed a person's emotions when sitting down to a first meat after losing a spouse.
To round out the staged portion of the event, BYU Ballroom Dance Group came through with four routines that demonstrated why they keep winning awards for excellence throughout the world.
During the change-over intermission participants learned the NappyTabs Dance Routine led by darling Indy Mitchell from The Dance Club. In case you are wondering, Napoleon and Tabatha of "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographed this routine designed to get people off the couch and moving in celebration of a National Day of Dance.
Following an audience-participation dance-off, the boys in the audience were shown a martial arts demonstration and some cool moves by B-Boys.
The Events Center really started moving when the Zumba girls came on stage with the featured Zumba master Camillo from Salt Lake City.
